Overview
The new .earth gTLD extension is ideal for ecological and environmental organizations--as well as companies that have 'earth' in their name. The new .EARTH domain extension can be used for almost any purpose meant to draw attention to the conservation, protection, or study of the planet. Dot EARTH is meant for advocates, designers, ecologists, biologists, architects, urban planners, bloggers, up-cycle specialists, DIY advocates, or any person or business interested in providing the means for other Internet users to live a greener, more sustainable lifestyle.
The goal of the new .earth gTDL is to provide a new/better way for environmental (and related) firms to make their websites easily identifiable to their clients--and to bolster consumer confidence in their brand. Registering a .earth domain extension for your brand will help you grow your business, by letting the world know exactly who you are and what you do. And it will help enhance advertizing efforts and help you promote your business (or yourself) more effectively online, increasing search rankings. Be sure to get the .earth domain name you want before it's taken.
