Additional Information

Who can register .rs domains?

Any citizen of Serbia can register one or more .in.rs or .rs domains
for their personal use.

Any foreign citizen can register one or more .in.rs or .rs domains for
their personal use. However, the administrative contact for those
domains has to be a person residing in, or an organization registered
in Serbia.

Organizations registered in Serbia can register one or
more .co.rs, .org.rs, .edu.rs or .rs domains:
- Any registered organization can register .rs domains
- Commercial (for-profit) organizations can register .co.rs domains
- Educational organizations can register .edu.rs or .co.rs domains
- All other non-commercial organizations can register .org.rs domains

Foreign organizations can register one or
more .co.rs, .org.rs, .edu.rs or .rs domains. However, the
administrative contact for those domains has to be a person residing
in, or an organization registered in Serbia. If the domain in question
is .co.rs, .org.rs, or .edu.rs, the registrant must submit proof of
registration which shows the adequate type of organization for the
domain (commercial, educational or other).

Transition from .yu to .rs

Current registrants of .yu domains will have certain privileges while
registering .rs domains. Before .rs domain registration is open to the
public, all .yu domain names will be reserved in .rs domain space, for
a period of six months, according to following rules:

- Registrants of .yu domains will have their domain name reserved
in .rs space (eg. eunet.yu -> eunet.rs)
- Registrants of .co.yu domains will have their domain name reserved
in both .co.rs and .rs space (eg. firma.co.yu -> firma.co.rs and
firma.rs)
- Registrants of .org.yu domains will have their domain name reserved
in both .org.rs and .rs space (eg. firma.org.yu -> firma.org.rs and
firma.rs)
- Registrants of .edu.yu domains will have their domain name reserved
in both .edu.rs and .rs space (eg. firma.edu.yu -> firma.edu.rs and
firma.rs)

In case of same domain names being registered in .yu, .co.yu, .org.yu,
and/or .edu.yu space, the corresponding .rs domain will be awarded on
a first come first serve basis.

After the initial six months, reservations will be cancelled and
all .rs domains become freely available.

Pursuant to Articles 2 and 6 of the Articles of Association of the fund “Serbian
National Register of Internet Domain Names”, the General Assembly of Serbian
National Register of Internet Domain Names, at the session of October 26, 2007,
adopts:
RULES
on the Beginning of Operation of .rsTLD Registry
and the Termination of Operation of yuTLD Registry
Subject of the Rules
Article 1
(1) These Rules regulate the beginning of the registration of .rs domains in the
rsTLD registry, the procedure for transition from .yu to .rs domains and
termination of operation of yuTLD registry (hereafter: “Transitional Period”).
Beginning and Length of Transitional Period
Article 2
(1) The Transitional Period begins with the entry into force of these Rules and lasts
until September 30, 2009, in accordance with the decision of the “Internet
Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers” (hereafter: “ICANN”), No.
07.79 of September 11, 2007.
Stages of the Transitional Period
Article 3
(1) Transitional period is divided into three stages:
• The stage of preparation for the beginning of registration of .rs
domains;
• The stage of initial registration of .rs domains;
• The stage of maintenance of .yu domains until termination of yuTLD
registry.
The Stage of Preparation for the Beginning of Registration of .rs Domains
Article 4
(1) The stage of preparation for the beginning of registration of .rs domains lasts
from the entry into force of these Rules until the beginning of registration of .rs
domains.
(2) The starting day for registration of .rs domains is determined by a special
decision by the managing board of the Serbian National Register of Internet
Domain Names (hereafter: “RNIDS”).
(3) During the preparation stage, within appropriate address spaces of rsTLD
registry, the RNIDS shall perform the following actions, in the following order
of priority:
• Reservation of domains necessary for ensuring stable technical
functioning of Internet services, in accordance with the
recommendations of ICANN and relevant Internet standards.
• Registration of domains for use by RNIDS;
• Reservation of domains of special importance for the Republic of
Serbia, in cooperation with the ministry in charge of the information
society;
• Reservation of names registered within the yuTLD registry before the
end of the preparation stage.
(4) Ten days before the beginning of registration of .rs domains, the RNIDS shall
stop accepting applications for the registration of new .yu domains.
The Stage of Initial Registration of .rs Domains
Article 5
(1) The stage of initial registration of .rs domains begins on the starting day for
registration of .rs domains and lasts for six months.
(2) During the stage of initial registration, the right to register domains reserved
during the preparatory stage will have Registrants who qualify for registration
of domains of special interest for the Republic of Serbia, and Registrants of .yu
domains, as outlined in Article 4, Paragraph 3, points 3 and 4 of these Rules.
(3) Registration of other (unreserved) .rs domains will be open to all interested
parties from the starting day of .rs domain registration, in accordance with the
provisions of General Terms and Conditions for the Registration of .rs Domain
Names.
Registration of .rs Domains of Special Importance for the Republic of Serbia
Article 6
(1) Registration of .rs domains reserved in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 3,
Point 3 of these Rules is made by submission of an application to RNIDS,
through an Accredited Registrar of .rs domains, in accordance with the
procedure outlined in the General Terms and Conditions for the Registration of
.rs Domain Names. Together with the application, a Registrant submits directly
to the RNIDS a document issued by the ministry in charge of the information
society, certifying that the Registrant qualifies for registration of the requested
.rs domain.
Registration of .rs Domains for the .yu Domain Registrants
Article 7
(1) Registration of .rs domains reserved in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 3,
Point 3 of these Rules is made by submission of an application to RNIDS,
through an Accredited Registrar of .rs domains, in accordance with the
procedure outlined in the General Terms and Conditions for the Registration of
.rs Domain Names.
(2) During the stage of initial registration, a Registrant of a .yu domain has the right
to register an .rs domain of the same name, within the equivalent address space
of the .rsTLD registry (for example, Registrant of the domain ‘company.co.yu’
can apply for registration of the domain ‘company.co.rs’; Registrant of the
domain ‘organization.org.yu’ can apply for registration of the domain
‘organization.org.rs’; the Registrant of the domain ‘school.edu.yu’ can apply for
registration of the domain ‘school.edu.rs’).
(3) During the stage of initial registration, a Registrant of a .co.yu, .org.yu or edu.yu
domain can apply for registration of the .rs domain with the same name within
the .rs address space (‘example.rs’) on condition that .rs domain with such name
has not already been reserved or registered.
(4) In case that two or more Registrants apply for registration of the same .rs
domain according to terms outlined in the paragraph above, the RNIDS shall
approve the first recorded application accompanied with complete
documentation.
Submission of Additional Documentation for .yu Domain Holders
Article 8
(1) When applying for registration of an .rs domain within rsTLD registry, a domain
holder of .yu domain submits to the RNIDS, through Accredited Registrars,
additional documentation related to registration of the .yu domain, supporting
his claim to priority. These data presented in the documents must correspond to
data on the registration of the .yu domain in the database of yuTLD registry.
(2) If a significant change in Registrant data occurred in the period between the last
change of data in the yuTLD registry database and the moment of submission of
an application for registration of .rs domain, the applicant is obligated to
document the history of all changes.
(3) Where applicant for registration of .rs domain is unable to prove his status of .yu
domain Registrant, or where Registrant data in the database of yuTLD registry
is incomplete, the applicant is obliged to submit a statement describing
circumstances under which registration of .yu domain was done, and clarify his
present status regarding the domain in question.
(4) Final decisions on the approval of the applications described in the previous
paragraph, and on all other irregular cases are made by a special commission
appointed by the Managing Board of the RNIDS.
Time Frame for Submitting Additional Documentation
Article 9
(1) During the stage of initial registration, an applicant for the registration of an .rs
domain is obliged to submit additional documentation in electronic form to the
RNIDS, through an Accredited Registrar, within 30 days from the submission of
the application.
(2) If the applicant does not submit additional documentation to the RNIDS within
period specified above, the application for the registration of the .rs domain will
be refused, and the .rs domain put back on the list of reserved domains until the
end of the stage of initial registration.
Application Fee
Article 10
(1) During the stage of initial registration, the RNIDS shall charge a fee for the
submission and processing of applications for registration of .rs domains,
according to the price list of the RNIDS.
(2) The Accredited Registrar does not have a right to a refund of the application fee
if the application for registration of a domain is refused.
The Expiry of Reserved .rs Domain Names
Article 11
(1) The expiry of the stage of initial registration entails the expiry of the reservation
of .rs domains for which no application for registration has been filed during the
stage of initial registration.
(2) Exceptionally, RNIDS can extend reservation of .rs domains of special
importance for the Republic of Serbia, at the request by the ministry in charge
of the information society.
(3) All .rs domains reserved in accordance with Article 4 of this Rules, for which
applications for registration were filed, shall remain on the list of reserved .rs
domains until the documentation has been processed.
Stage of Maintenance of .yu Domains until Termination of yuTLD Registry
Article 12
(1) The stage of maintenance of .yu domains until termination of yuTLD registry
begins with the expiry of the stage of initial registration and ends on September
30, 2009, in accordance with the decision of ICANN No. 07.79, of September
11, 2007, that is, until the final removal of “.yu” domain from the root zone file.
Functioning of yuTLD Registry during the Maintenance Stage
Article 13
(1) All .yu domains registered before the beginning of the registration of .rs
domains shall continue to function normally until final termination of yuTLD
registry.
(2) Annual renewal of registration of all .yu domains shall start on September 30,
2008. .yu domains shall be renewed for the period of one year.
(3) Registrants of .yu domains shall submit applications for renewal, change of
registration data, transfer of registration and termination of registration directly
to the RNIDS.
(4) The RNIDS shall charge a fee for the renewal and change of registration data in
accordance with the RNIDS price list, while requests for the termination of .yu
domains will be processed without charge.
Termination of Operation of yuTLD Registry
Article 14
(1) yuTLD registry will cease operation on October 1, 2009, or in accordance with
the appropriate decision of the ICANN.
Coming Into Effect and Applicability of the Rules
Article 15
(1) These Rules come into effect and shall apply from the day of their approval by
the General Assembly of the RNIDS.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For Registration of .rs Domain Names
Subject of General Conditions
Article 1
(1) The General Terms and Conditions for Registration of .rs Domain Names
(hereafter: “General Terms and Conditions”) regulate the procedure for
registration and the manner of use of .rs domains, as well as mutual relations of
Serbian National Register of Internet Domain Names (hereafter: “RNIDS”), as
an administrator of central registry of .rs domains (hereafter: “rsTLD Registry”)
and registrants of .rs domains (hereafter: “Registrant”), who register .rs domains
with RNIDS, through the accredited registrars of .rs domains (hereafter:
“Accredited Registrar”).
Definitions of Basic Terms
Article 2
(1) The Internet is a global communication system made up of a large number of
mutually connected autonomous systems (networks) which exchange data by
using a common set of communication protocols (TCP/IP).
(2) IP number is a numerical identifier, defined within IP protocol, which allows
unambiguous addressing of devices connected to the Internet.
(3) Internet domain is a textual label that identifies a set of devices or Internet
services, connecting them into a single administrative-technical entity. A domain
comprises a series of alphanumeric segments, separated by a colon, in
compliance with Internet standards RFC 1034, 1035, 1122, 1123, 3596 and
standards that supplement or replace them. A segment can contain numbers (0-
9), English alphabet letters (a-z) and a dash (-). The segment cannot be shorter
than two (2), or longer than sixty three (63) characters. The segment cannot
begin or end in a dash. The segment cannot contain two consecutive dashes in
the third and fourth position.
(4) Domain Name System, DNS, is a base Internet service that allows translation of
Internet domains into IP numbers and vice versa.
(5) rsTLD (rs Top-Level Domain) is the domain name of highest level within DNS
system, intended for registration of domain names for the territory of the
Republic of Serbia.

(6) rsTLD registry is a central database on .rs domains registered within rsTLD,
administered by the RNIDS.
(7) WHOIS database of rsTLD registry is a public database on users of .rs domains
registered within the rsTLD registry.
Registrant, Administrative and Technical Contact
Article 3
(1) A domain Registrant is a person who, in accordance with these General Terms
and Conditions, registers and holds an .rs domain within rsTLD registry.
(2) A Registrant can be a domestic or foreign, natural or legal person.
(3) Administrative contact is a natural person, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, or
a legal person registered in the Republic of Serbia, authorized to exchange with
RNIDS data relevant for domain name registration, and to make changes of all
data on registration of an .rs domain on behalf of a Registrant.
(4) Technical contact is a natural or legal person authorized to make changes of
technical data concerning the registration of an .rs domain on behalf of a
Registrant (DNS server data and technical contact details).
Accredited Registrar
Article 4
(1) An Accredited Registrar is a legal entity registered in the Republic of Serbia,
authorized by the RNIDS for performing tasks of registration of .rs domains
within rsTLD registry.
(2) The Registrar performs the tasks of registration of an .rs domain at the request
of a Registrant.
(3) The registration tasks performed by an Accredited Registrar include: registration
of an .rs domain, change of data of an .rs domain, renewal of an .rs domain,
transfer of .rs domains between accredited registrars, transfer of registration of
an .rs domain between registrants, activation of the protection of contact data for
an .rs domain and termination of an .rs domain.
(4) The operation of Accredited Registrars is regulated by the General Terms and
Conditions for Operation of Accredited Registrars of .rs Domains and other
relevant regulations of RNIDS.

Organization of Address Spaces of rsTLD Registry
Article 5
(1) Registration of .rs domains within rsTLD registry is performed within the
following address spaces:
• .rs – intended for all interested users;
• .co.rs – intended for business users;
• .org.rs – intended for all other registered organizations;
• .edu.rs – intended for educational institutions and organizations;
• .in.rs – intended for citizens of Serbia;
• .=c.rs (delegated) – intended for academic and research network of
Serbia;
• .gov.rs (delegated) – intended for state institutions of the Republic of
Serbia.
(2) The RNIDS can subsequently allow registration of .rs domains in other address
spaces (sub-domains) within rsTLD registry.
(3) These General Terms and Conditions do not apply to registration of domains in
delegated address spaces and other new address spaces that can be delegated to
third parties.
(4) The RNIDS can be a Registrant within rsTLD and has the right to register or
reserve .rs domains for its needs, domains of special importance for the
Republic of Serbia as well as domains necessary for stable functioning of the
Internet.
Applying for Registration of .rs Domains
Article 6
(1) The RNIDS registers an .rs domain on the basis of an application for registration
of .rs domain, submitted in accordance with these General Terms and
Conditions.
(2) A Registrant can register one or more .rs domains within rsTLD registry.
(3) A separate application is submitted for the registration of every .rs domain.
(4) By submitting an application for the registration of an .rs domain, the Registrant
explicitly confirms his agreement with these General Terms and Conditions.
(5) The RNIDS reserves the right to temporarily suspend or limit registration of .rs
domains, if necessary for the protection of technical and administrative
functioning of rsTLD registry.

Registration Data for an .rs Domain
Article 7
(1) When applying for the registration of a domain, a Registrant is obliged to
provide correct, complete and valid data for the registration of an .rs domain.
(2) The data for the registration of an .rs domain are:
• Where the Registrant is a natural person: name and surname, address
of residence, administrative and technical contact, the data on the
primary and the secondary DNS server for the .rs domain he is
applying for;
• Where the Registrant is a legal entity or an entrepreneur: business
name, registered address, company registration number, tax number,
the administrative and technical contact, the data on the primary and
the secondary DNS server for the .rs domain he is applying for;
(3) DNS servers specified in the application for registration of an .rs domain must
become active no later than three days after the submission of the application.
(4) The Registrant is obliged to keep DNS servers in operative order for the entire
duration of the registration.
(5) The Registrant is obliged to forward to the RNIDS, through an accredited
registrar, in electronic form, copies of documents proving that conditions under
Article 3 of the General Terms and Conditions have been met, no later than 30
days from the submission of the application for registration, renewal or change
of data on the .rs domain, if changes occur in the first name, surname or address
of residence for the natural person, that is, in the business name or registered
address of a legal entity.
(6) If any changes occur in any of the data on the registration of the .rs domain, the
Registrant shall promptly, no later than 15 days after the occurrence of the
change, submit a request for change of .rs domain data to RNIDS, through an
Accredited Registrar.
Statement of Good Faith and Responsibilities of the Registrant
Article 8
(1) By applying for the registration of an .rs domain within rsTLD registry, that is,
by agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions, the Registrant undertakes
that, to the best of his knowledge and in his honest belief, the registration of the
requested domain does not injure somebody else’s intellectual property, or any
other subjective rights and that all data specified in the application for the
registration of the .rs domain are true and complete. The Registrant also declares
that he does not request the registration of the domain in opposition to the
principle of conscientiousness, honesty and good business practices, and that he
will not knowingly use the .rs domain contrary to these principles.

(2) The RNIDS shall not bear responsibility for damages caused by incorrect data
on the registration of .rs domain, or by unauthorized or illegal use of an .rs
domain.
Registration and Activation of an .rs Domain
Article 9
(1) The RNIDS registers .rs domain according to the right of priority (first-come
first-served principle).
(2) The Registrant has the right of priority for the .rs domain for which he applied,
from the moment the RNIDS receives his application for the registration of an
.rs domain, effective the moment when the RNIDS issues a certificate of
acceptance of the application for registration of an .rs domain.
(3) An .rs domain has been registered when the RNIDS enters the registration data
for the .rs domain into the WHOIS database of rsTLD registry.
(4) The WHOIS database of rsTLD registry contains at least the following data on
every registered .rs domain:
• the name of .rs domain;
• registration data for the .rs domain;
• date and time of registration of .rs domain;
• date and time of the expiry of .rs domain;
• the name of the accredited registrar for the domain.
(5) The RNIDS is obliged to activate the .rs domain within 24 hours from the
moment it issues certificate of acceptance of the application for registration of
.rs domain.
(6) The period from the paragraph above can be extended in exceptional cases when
the RNIDS temporarily limits or suspends processing of applications for
registration of .rs domains under Article 6, Paragraph 5.
(7) .rs domain becomes active when the RNIDS enters the data from the WHOIS
database into DNS table of rsTLD registry and makes the table active on the
primary DNS server.
Availability of Data on Registered .rs Domains
Article 10
(1) Through WHOIS database, the RNIDS will always make publicly available at
least the following data on registered .rs domains within rsTLD registry:
• the name of .rs domain;
• date and time of registration of .rs domain;
• date and time of the last change in data for the .rs domain;
• date and time of the expiry of the registration of .rs domain;

• the name of the accredited registrar for the domain;
• current status of the domain (active, deactivated, in dispute, etc)
• DNS servers for the .rs domain.
(2) Contact data for an .rs domain are:
• Where the Registrant is a natural person: name and surname, address
of residence, administrative and technical contact;
• Where the Registrant is a legal entity or an entrepreneur: business
name, registered address, company registration number, tax number,
the administrative and technical contact.
(3) Through WHOIS base, the RNIDS will always make publicly available at least
the following contact data for every registered .rs domain, unless the Registrant
has activated the protection of contact data:
• Where the Registrant is a natural person: name and surname;
• Where the Registrant is a legal entity or an entrepreneur: business
name, registered address and company registration number.
(4) The RNIDS is obliged to provide to every interested person, upon request set
out in writing, contact data for an .rs domain, no later than three days after the
receipt of such request.
(5) The RNIDS is obliged to make contact data on the .rs domain unavailable at the
request of a Registrant.
(6) The RNIDS is obliged to provide competent state authorities with access to all
data on .rs domains registered within rsTLD registry, in accordance with the law
or a valid court order.
Duration of Registration of .rs Domain
Article 11
(1) .rs domain if registered for the period of one to ten years, with the possibility of
renewal of registration.
(2) Registration and renewal are made for whole year periods.
Change of .rs Domain Registration Data
Article 12
(1) A Registrant, or his authorized representative, files a request for change of
registration data for .rs domain, to the RNIDS, through the Accredited Registrar
in charge with this .rs domain.
(2) The RNIDS issues a certificate of acceptance of the request for change of data
for the .rs domain.

(3) The RNIDS is obliged to activate the changes for .rs domain data no later than
twenty-four hours after issuing the certificate of acceptance of the request for
change of domain registration data.
(4) The change in .rs domain data is registered when the RNIDS enters the change
into WHOIS database of rsTLD registry.
(5) The RNIDS has the right to change all data of the existing .rs domain on the
basis of a valid court decision, final arbitration decision in a dispute related to
.rs domain or when the change is necessary for preserving technical stability of
the Internet.
Renewal of .rs Domain Registration
Article 13
(1) A Registrant, administrative or technical contact can file a request for the
renewal of the .rs domain registration to the RNIDS, through the Accredited
Registrar in charge with this .rs domain.
(2) The RNIDS issues a certificate of acceptance of the request for renewal of .rs
domain registration.
(3) The RNIDS is obliged to activate the renewal of registration of .rs domain no
later than twenty-four hours after issuing the certificate of acceptance of the
request for renewal.
(4) The renewal of .rs domain is registered when the RNIDS enters the renewal into
WHOIS database of rsTLD registry.
(5) The renewal of the .rs domain is possible during the duration of registration, but
the total number of years for which the .rs domain is registered cannot exceed
10 years.
(6) Upon the expiry of registration, the RNIDS deactivates .rs domain.
(7) Upon the expiry of the subsequent period of 30 days, the registration of .rs
domain is terminated.
(8) If the Registrant renews the registration in the subsequent period of 30 days, the
renewal of registration shall begin on the first day after the expiry of the
previous registration.
Transfer of .rs Domains between Accredited Registrars
Article 14
(1) The Registrar is obliged to allow the Registrant a right to select another
Accredited Registrar (hereafter: “New Accredited Registrar”) for .rs domains
which the Registrant has registered or renewed.

(2) The Accredited Registrar has to cooperate with the Registrant, the New
Accredited Registrar and the RNIDS in the process of transfer of .rs domain.
Transfer of Registration of .rs Domains between Registrants
Article 15
(1) The Registrant can file a request to RNIDS for transfer of the registration of the
.rs domain to the new Registrant, through the Accredited Registrar who is in
charge with this domain.
(2) Together with the request for the transfer of registration of the domain, the
Registrant submits to the Accredited Registrar a certified statement confirming
his consent to the transfer of rights to the new registrant, and empowers the
RNIDS to make the transfer.
(3) The RNIDS issues a certificate of acceptance of the request for the transfer of
.rs domain registration.
(4) The RNIDS is obliged to activate the transfer of registration of .rs domain no
later than twenty-four hours after issuing the certificate of acceptance of the
request for the transfer of .rs domain registration.
(5) The transfer of .rs domain registration is registered when the RNIDS enters the
transfer into WHOIS database of rsTLD registry.
(6) The RNIDS shall perform the transfer of the .rs domain only after it has
received from the Accredited Registrar the original of the statement under
Paragraph 2 of this article.
(7) The registration of the .rs domain of current registrant terminates with the
transfer of the .rs domain and the registration of the new registrant begins
effective the moment when the transfer is entered in the WHOIS database of
rsTLD registry.
Service Fees for the Registration of .rs Domains
Article 16
(1) Service fees are paid for the registration tasks under Article 4 of these General
Terms and Conditions.
(2) The Accredited Registrar pays to the RNIDS compensation for performance of
domain registration tasks when filing relevant requests to the RNIDS, in
accordance with the General Terms and Conditions on the Operation of
Registrars of .rs Domains and the price list of the RNIDS.

Termination of .rs Domain Registration
Article 17
(1) Registration of an .rs domain can be terminated where:
• The RNIDS becomes aware that the Registrant in his application for
the registration of an .rs domain has given incorrect or incomplete data,
or has failed to report changes of data concerning .rs domain
registration, except when incorrect or incomplete data are obviously a
result of a mistake;
• The Registrant fails to activate DNS servers within the period specified
in Article 7, Paragraph 3;
• It is not possible to determine the identity of the Registrant on the basis
of .rs domain data, that is, if the Registrant fails to supply required
copies of documents in the period specified in Article 7, Paragraph 5;
• If it is not possible to get in contact with the Registrant, that is, with the
Administrative contact for the .rs domain, within 45 days from the first
attempt to establish contact by the RNIDS, or if the Registrant, upon
leaving his address of residence or registered address in Serbia, fails to
specify a person with the address of residence or registered address in
Serbia as Administrative contact for the domain;
• If the Registrant files a request for the termination of .rs domain and a
certified statement of the consent to termination, effective from the
moment the RNIDS has received this statement;
• If the Registrant fails to renew registration of .rs domain within the
period specified in Article 13, Paragraph 7;
• The RNIDS makes the transfer of registration of .rs domain in
accordance with Article 15, effective the moment of the transfer of
rights;
• The arbitration orders termination or transfer of registration of .rs
domain, effective the day specified by the decision;
• The competent court rules for the termination or transfer of registration
of .rs domain, effective the day specified by the ruling;
• The Registrant ceases to exist without legal successor.
(2) The Registrant, or the registrar, does not have the right to full or partial
reimbursement of service fees paid for the previous registration or renewal of
the registrations of .rs domain, in case of termination on any grounds specified
in Paragraph 1 of this article.
Settling of Disputes Arising out of Registration of .rs Domains
Article 18
(1) The RNIDS has no jurisdiction for settling disputes arising out of .rs domains
registration, but refers the parties concerned to the permanent arbitration
established by RNIDS, in accordance with the Rules on Arbitration Proceedings
for Settling Disputes Arising out of Registration of .rs Domains.

(2) By applying for registration of an .rs domain within TLD registry, and by
agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions, the Registrant gives his
explicit consent to participation in arbitration proceedings, if a third party brings
a complaint against him in accordance with the Rules on Arbitration
Proceedings for Settling Disputes Arising out of Registration of .rs Domains.
The Registrant also agrees to comply by the final decision made by this
arbitration.
Language, Jurisdiction and Applicable Legislation
Article 19
(1) These General Terms and Conditions were put together in Serbian language. If
the text of the General Terms and Conditions is made available in another
language, the prevailing version shall be the one in Serbian.
(2) The RNIDS, the Accredited Registrar and the Registrant shall seek to settle
amicably all disputes arising out of registration procedure. If the settlement is
impossible to reach through negotiations, the competent court is the court in
Belgrade, and the applicable legislation is the legislation of the Republic of
Serbia.
Amendments to General Terms and Conditions
Article 20
(1) The RNIDS reserves the right to make amendments to these General Terms and
Conditions; it is obliged to notify in a suitable manner registrars and Registrants
of the amendments made, at least 15 days before they come into effect.
Coming Into Effect and Applicability of General Terms and Conditions
Article 21
(1) These General Terms and Conditions come into effect on the day of their
approval by the General Assembly of the RNIDS and shall apply from the start
of registration of .rs domains within rsTLD registry.
